The latest work by the Montreal-based collective Greenhouse Ensemble explores the well-ordered life of Martha, an ordinary woman in whom a boundless imagination and an unsuspected zest for life quietly reside. Over the course of eleven minutes, The Martha Suite leads the listener through her calm and repetitive world before diving into the vibrant imagination that lies beneath appearances, where order and chaos meet.

2023:
REZ-DE-CHAUSSÉE
Formed in 2019, the Greenhouse Ensemble released its debut album, “Rez-de-chaussée” (meaning “ground floor”), in the spring of 2023.
This short opus expresses the group’s spirit and its players great musicality, as well as the strong friendship powering it all.
