BIO
Through a unique instrumentation blending voice, violin, and trumpet, Greenhouse Ensemble weaves a contemporary jazz sound that is both organic, orchestral, and tinged with folk influences. Blurring the lines between composition and improvisation, the group seeks to create immersive sonic worlds where emotion and connection lie at the heart of the musical experience.
The sound of Greenhouse Ensemble stands out for its harmonic richness, airy textures, and openness to diverse influences. Each member brings a unique voice shaped by varied backgrounds and traditions — from North American jazz to classical music, as well as bluegrass and traditional folk music.
The collective prioritizes original compositions, non-conventional forms, and vibrant onstage interaction. Exploring the space between composition and improvisation, Greenhouse Ensemble creates immersive sonic worlds where emotion, freedom, and musical camaraderie lie at the heart of the experience.
